Your child's page on bigmaths.website shows what they know and where a little help matters most.
Who can do this: parents, carers and tutors. Teachers see Class Progress instead; see Teachers.
Open the page. Parents select their child's card on the dashboard. Tutors select My Pupils, then View. Help, in the header of your dashboard, opens these guides. On your child's page, select Understand this progress page.
Read the levels. The page shows the Progress Tree, the Baseline Assessment starting points and the current CLIC and Learn Its levels. Each Learn Its level stands for about a term. Ultimate and Bonus are extra milestones, not another term. Year labels are background for adults, never a target. A starting level below your child's school year is common and expected: it is where their success starts.
Review the Baseline Assessment answers. View Incorrect Baseline Answers shows each question, your child's answer, the correct answer and the skill. Read it privately. Please don't go through the list with your child as a list of mistakes.
Recent Activity, skills and notes. This lists challenges, practice and support in date order. Practice Cove and Stepping Stones entries are explained in Practice. Select an entry for Skills to revisit and Notes from the teacher, which can include pictures. The notes are written for adults, so you don't need to be a maths expert to use them. Parent notes appear once written.
Reports and recordings. Parents have Progress Report and Family Voice; tutors have Reports. See also The Learn Its Practice card.

Pick one skill at a time. Small, regular chats do more than one long session.
